Year: 1940s Model: Wayne Conventionals on Unidentified Chassis ID: 3 or 5 (Nearest to camera.) Owner/Operator: "School District of Mehlville," St. Louis, Missouri Location: Mehlville High School, St. Louis, Missouri Quoted from Todd's Email: "End of a school day in Fall 1950 outside Mehlville High School. Four buses are in the group photo, but the only one halfway identifiable is on the front far left -- that's Mehlville's Bus 3 or 5." Note: It looks as though the bus nearest the camera has more modern equipment than the other buses.  Mounted on the front looks to be a school bus sign and warning lights.  Also, the bus in the right lane, furthest from the camera, is a Carpenter Conventional body on an unidentified chassis.
