Location: Macomb County Intermediate School District Auction, Macomb County, Michigan Michigan requires all buses manufactured after October 1, 1990 to be equipped with an 8 way warning light system. All buses prior to this date, like the one pictured, were only required to have four red warning lights. Out of confusion about the exact requirements of the law, most buses that were delivered as 1990 models with only four red lights were retrofitted with 8 way warning lights. This one, however, seems to have been spared and retains it's original four way warning light system.
