1970's Thomas Mighty Mite

Year: 1970s Model: Thomas Mighty Might SRW Owner/Operator: Lake Orion Community Schools Location: Lake Orion, Michigan Photo By: The Lake Orion Review, May 9, 1979 This bus is likely a Mighty Mite because the Minotour (Thomas's type A) was not developed until the late 1970s or early 1980s.  It is likely a Chevrolet or GMC chassis.  The bus was involved in an accident in which a car had hit the side of the bus, causing it to roll over.  The driver received minor injuries, but the 6 special education children aboard were uninjured.
