Year: 1948 Model: GMC THD (Transit Diesel Hydraulic transmission) 3610 manufactured in Pontiac, Michigan ID: 2857 Owner/Operator: Former Montgomery City Bus Lines (of National City Lines), Montgomery, Alabama.  Currently the The Henry Ford, Dearborn, Michigan. Location: Henry Ford Museum, Dearborn, Michigan This bus is that on which Rosa Parks sparked the Civil Right Movement in America, now on display at the Henry Ford Museum.  An exhibit on civil rights was built around the bus, so the lower and more recent photos had to be taken at a much closer proximity.
