2000s Blue Bird GMC Micro-Bird

 

Year: 2000s Model: Blue Bird GMC Micro-Bird ID: 216 Owner/Operator: Macomb County Community Services Agency, Michigan Location: MCCSA bus lot, Clinton Township, Michigan The second photo demonstrates Michigan's somewhat strict specifications regarding the identification of buses.  Identification numbers and letters must be located in six spots on each bus: on the back in the lower right corner, the right front of the bus, above the last passenger windows, and above the entrance door/driver's window.  On Blue Birds, this required the streamer to end before the last window and the Bird logo set back from the front to allow room for the numbers.  Apparently the factory made a mistake in applying the streamer, and this was the dealer's fix for the numbering.
