This bus was renumbered in August 2007 as "230."
Since I have been documenting school buses owned and operated by the Mehlville
School District, I know this at least the FOURTH bus in the fleet over the years
wearing the number "30."
Previously, Bus 30 in the Mehlville fleet was...
a 1961 or '62 Carpenter with a Ford chassis (sold in 1972)
a 1974 Ward with a GMC chassis (junked in 1981--see old photos of this bus
elsewhere)
and a 1987 Wayne with a Ford chassis.
